Throw Back Thursday!

So I am doing a Throw Back Thursday this week. I am not going wayyyy back, I'm just going back to the amazing birth of Thomas Dane Hughes! It was almost impossible to choose which photos I was going to place on my blog but after an hour I finally got it narrowed down. Thomas Dane Hughes was born April 10, 2014 at 11:36pm. I went in April 9th to start monitoring Dane over night and to start the labor process. I was slow to dilate but by 9am my water was broken and the show really nasty contractions started a few hours after. I had an epidural when the pain became too intense. I had a bad reaction to the epidural so it was turned off but provided enough medicine to get me to 8cm. The pain started again and I was given some medicine to help take the edge off. Terri and I took a nap until I reached 10cm and then found out Dane was too high and I needed to get in several different positions to bring him down. I finally rocked him down far enough it was time to push. I pushed to 45mins and sweet baby Dane was born. I was wanted to pull Dane out myself and when the time came I was so exhausted I didn't think I could do it. Bobby encouraged me and told me I would regret it if I didn't. Bobby was right, I could do it. When Dane's head was fully out I pushed a hard push one last time and pulled Dane out and laid him on my tummy. I was so in love! It is still so surreal. I now share one of the greatest days of my life (my Wedding day to my best friend) with the birth of my 1st son! I love you with all the breath I have in me buggy.
This will be in two posts because of the amount of photos. Make sure to check the continued for the rest of the photos!
Until the next adventure...Love & Pray!
The night before our whole world changed for the better!

Cheastatee Wild Life Park

The last time Bobby had a couple days off work I asked him if he wanted to go to a Wildlife Preserve with Dane and I. The Wildlife Preserve was only about 30-40mins away from our house. Driving north into the mountains was beautiful. The three of us had a great time while were we there! The challenge was getting the stroller around on the wood chipped walkway but other than that it was a great experience. The people who volunteered and worked there were so nice. You could tell they really loved the animals that they were taking care of. They had a grizzly bear there and I almost had an accident in my pants when I saw just how big that bear was! Really makes me think of the movie the Great Outdoors. (If you haven't seen the movie you really should...I won't name any names...TT and Bobby!) haha
Until the next adventure...Love & Pray!

Dane is wearing his shirt with a Lion (wearing sunglasses) on it.
CUTIE!

BEAR... BEAR ....BIG BEAR!

Look at my sweet family

This wolf only came out when she heard Dane crying. She kept watching Dane until he stopped crying.
I guess I should rename Dane Mobley haha (Jungle Book reference)

Zebras

A pretty view at the new enclosure they are building

Zdonks! I feel bad for these confused looking animals

Does anyone else hear the Lion King song when looking at this picture?

Peacock

I wanted to hold this monkey so badly

Never in a million years would you see me standing that close to a big bird

Bobby's idea of a guinea ( my cute city boy) haha
Don't worry I told Dane they were Turkeys

They had places to buy food to feed the animals.

My gorgeous little buggy

I love my boys

Bowling with Babies

Well if I didn't wait so long to start my blog I could tell you when we actually went bowling. haha I am guessing sometime in June. Terri, Emma, Alex, Katee, Peter, Anna, Bobby, Dane and I all met at a Bowling Alley near Katee (Bobby's sister). When we first got set up to bowl they said all the lanes are full and purchased so we would have to be moved. Luck us because we got moved to the VIP side  where it was all lit up with blacklights (why do they call them black lights? Those lights should really be called purple lights!) and had couches for us to lounge on. SCORE!!!!! Dane got passed around each time someone got up to bowl and he loved the attention! All those pretty ladies to look at. :)
I am pretty sure I almost spanked everyones score but I think if you asked them their stories may be slightly different. haha
Until the next adventure....Love & Pray

The ball is the same weight as buggy....10lbs (now a whopping 15!)
